Hi, I’m a PhD student at UCL$^{*}$ studying theoretical neuroscience and machine learning. My research is in navigation, reinforcement and representation learning – I use theoretical methods and data-driven techniques from machine learning to understand biological intelligence (NeuroAI) under the supervision of Kimberly Stachenfeld (Google DeepMind), Claudia Clopath (Imperial) and Caswell Barry (UCL).
I build and maintain open-source tools for science including the RatInABox and SIMPL packages. I recently completed an AI residency at Google X researching foundation models for geophysics. I also co-founded CaMinA, a summer school for computational neuroscience and machine learning in Africa.
Get in touch! If any of the above interests you, or you are pursuing similar goals, I’d love to chat.
*defending soon. I’ll be joining Guillaume Lajoie and Blake Richards at Mila, in Montreal, September 2025.
